Rev. Jerry Gilmore accepted the call to become lead pastor of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Rock Hill, SC on April 16, 2023 and began serving full time on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Pastor Jerry (PJ) worked a long career in the information technology field before transitioning to ministry in 2006. He has been lead pastor of two Wesleyan churches, a worship pastor and youth pastor in two Nazarene churches, and a worship leader in other churches and at camp meetings. PJ also sings with The Envoys, a male quartet, and has performed as a concert soloist.
He‘s a fourth generation pastor/leader in the local Wesleyan-Holiness church. His wife, Linda, has served alongside him from the beginning. She has served as a children’s minister, a women’s ministry leader, a food pantry coordinator, and a strong supporter of many local church ministries. PJ and Linda have two sons, John and Josh, four grandchildren, two grand cats and grand dog.
